Project Owners & Contractors

For contractors, project owners and developers alike, jobsite productivity is key. The union commercial construction industry has continued to prove its efficiency in the Milwaukee area largely due to superior education and training, and mandated safety guidelines. Whether you’re looking to use union labor or become a union contractor, you’re making a profitable decision for your project and the success of your organization.

The Union Advantage

A recent AGC report highlighted the union construction industry’s success with workforce training, staffing and retention. The report found “non-union firms were an average of 16% more likely to report difficulty filling open positions, 13% more likely to report losing skilled workers to other industries, 21% more likely to report project delays due to workforce supply or retention issues, and 27% more likely to report their local workforce training pipeline as “poor” compared to their union signatory peers.”

This means signatory contractors have a leg up from their competition because of their skilled workforce and project owners have peace of mind that their project will be completed without workforce delays. We’re proud to support partnerships within the union construction industry that benefit all parties involved in a project.
