National Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity for the union construction industry to showcase the different career paths in the building and construction trades. Each career path offers a unique opportunity to learn useful skills and have a sustainable and rewarding career. The length of apprenticeship varies depending on the specific trade chosen, but each offers on-the-job and classroom training by experienced tradespeople.

To celebrate NAW, Building Advantage hosts an annual Career Fair. Last year, over 300 students from seventeen schools participated in the event along with nineteen union trades and contractors. Students learned more about each of the trades while experiencing different hands-on activities.
