Important Elements of a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan:
• COVID-19 education and training
• Social distancing plans which include staggered employee schedules
• Health screening for every individual entering the job site
• Increased cleaning, disinfecting and handwashing practices
Important Elements of COVID-19 Response Plan:
• Determine how the project will respond in the event of a positive COVID-19 case
• Communicate with tradespeople and staff who were in close contact with the confirmed case
• Explain return to work procedures

Know the Facts:
• COVID-19 Vaccines will not give you COVID-19
• Previously contracting COVID-19 does not prevent you from contracting it again
• COVID-19 Vaccines have been rigorously tested for safety
Make a Personal Safety Plan:
• Make a commitment to your safety and the safety of those around you
• Just like hardhats, safety glasses and now face masks, a vaccine should be considered as one more piece of PPE
• It’s not too late to get the flu shot and not too early to make a plan to get the COVID-19 Vaccine
