National Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity for the union construction industry to showcase the different career paths in the building and construction trades. Each career path offers a unique opportunity to learn useful skills and have a sustainable and rewarding career. The length of apprenticeship varies depending on the specific trade chosen, but each offers on-the-job and classroom training by experienced tradespeople.

To celebrate NAW, Building Advantage hosts an annual Career Fair. This year, 700 students from thirty-two schools participated in the event along with 42 union trades, contractors and local organizations. Students learned more about each of the trades with interactive hands-on activities.
